How do you make a Rose flower our of 5 dollar bills?

someone made me a flower out of dollar bills years ago and I think it takes 5 of them to do it anyway I can't figure it out If you have ideas please let me know

Place stick at one corner and roll up to form the centre of the rose - continue by windin round and putting in a small pleat to next circle of petals. Proceed on this way addin more notes and pleats as you go round and round, until complete. Secure at bottom with staple or tape or ribbon............
