Fragrant fresh flowers, potpourri, candles, wax melts, essential oil diffusers. Here are other options:

Simmer Pot to Make Your House Smell Wonderful
simmer some cinnamon. Everybody loves cinnamon.
I will add that I hate scented candles. Until I found Smoke Odor exterminator candles.
They have multiple scents, tho I prefer the vanilla or mulberry. The scent is subtle. They don’t give me a headache or make my eyes hurt.
My children like them for their homes, obliviating much of the scent of sneakers and shoes stacked by the door in winter.
You can buy them online, as I do (by the case), or at most good cigar shops. They last very well if you trim the wick.
Trust me. They’re great. Made in the USA by the way, Charlotte, NC
I use melts in burners I have tried many ways and I thing this is the nicer way.
Spray everything that is textile (upholstery, carpet, rugs, pillows, drapes, sheers, artificial flowers and trees, scarves) with Febreeze, and use electric room deodorizers. ☺️
Use the same scent in layers using different types of applications (candles, potpourri, reed diffusers, plug-ins).
Essential oil and a diffuser works great. There are a variety of scents.
