i personally use a vermicompost (worm poop) and it is amazing!!!
Yes, it is great to use on your garden but only after it has aged for at least a year.
Every few years in the spring I visit my local farmer to pick up well decomposed cow manure to add to my raised vegetable garden. I mix it in well with my existing soil. I only plant tomatoes (about 20 plants) and I always have a bumper crop.
Yes, living in agricultural areas all my life, we have used livestock manure for gardens. Be sure it is 1 or 2 yrs old or it will burn your plants. Most ranchers/farmers are happy to donate what you want to haul off, if you have access to them. My grandma was the expert I went to ask. She listed them in this order for best: first is sheep manure, then chicken manure, then any other livestock manure. They are the best in that order for all your gardening. Be advised tomatoes and peppers do not like nitrogen so do not mulch them with grass clippings etc.

I've seen some amazing gardens that have used fish fertilizer.
Most definitely! That's all Mom used once the livestock manure was old enough. Rabbit IMO is the best. No waiting for aging ~ a light fertilizer that won't burn. We used to have rabbits just for that purpose. Won't tell why Dad raised them. mm mmm
Careful of chicken manure that is not well aged , can burn the plants . Actually all can . let dung rot couple yrs , as others have mentioned .
