If it has been in your office for "years" the poor thing is most likely root bound and can't breathe. Time to repot!

Is it root bound? Have you changed the soil so it has fresh nutes? Do you fertilize it?
How long has it been in that pot...it may be root bound. Repot 1 size larger.
I agree with all the above answers, that was the first thing that came to my mind.
Repot in the next size container with drainage holes.

U need to allow its roots to breathe,so uproot it, chop off a few roots replant with new mud
