    Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth. Sprinkle heavily around the and hill - ring it. As the ants walk through it, they'll carry it into the nest and kill the queen. OK for pets but will kill Fire Ants.

    Hi Patricia,

    I use borax and powdered sugar. The worker ants will take that back to the ant hill to feed others and the borax will kill them. Leave it anywhere you see ants but be careful that animals or children don't eat it. Wishing you the best.
