as long as you feed feral cats you will always have fleas. Feral means wild and they need to hunt for their own food.

Our neighbor feeds the "wild" cats in our neighborhood. She wonders why they always have kittens under her home....well...quit feeding them and they will go away...shes too old to understand I guess...or to tender hearted. But fleas are gonna stay as long as they do.
You cannot solve this problem as long as you encourage wild animals to congregate at your house!
Wild animals belong in the wild. Feeding them only makes them dependent on you and it brings in unwanted creatures...like fleas and snakes!
Most of these cats were someone's pet or the off spring of these pets; we have a very large senor population and too much new home construction that is turning fields and pastures into neighborhoods.
