If you can put the logs up a little off the dirt, you can season them and then burn them as firewood. You can also use it in crafts, furniture making, etc once it has seasoned. You can strip off the bark and use the bark as mulch on your planting beds. You can build a small log cabin-style shed.
If the trunk of the tree is big enough you can make nice planters. Also you can use some of the larger tree limbs around your garden as as borders you can paint them also if you want it to be colorfull
Slice about 2 inches think, use as stepping stones in your yard
Slices can be used as "canvas" for art or quotations. They make interesting dinner table centerpieces or hot plates. Those make great gifts as well. You can use logs or split logs for a raised flower/vegetable bed or to line/border paths. Any appropriate proportioned smaller branches can be use in home decor, i.e.put into an umbrella stand in the corner and stencil the wall to appear that the branch continues across the wall and ceiling. Twigs can be added to flower arrangements.
if you are out in the country side, not in town, you can have the tree taken to a lumberyard, and cut into lumber. Some companies will just purchase the tree, and remove it themselves. Unfortunately some town trees have metal pieces that have grown into the trees. Occasionally a magnet can locate them and the tree can be lumbered out.
Don’t store the trees or the wood next to your house or a shed. They will attract termites. But put at least a sheet of plywood, or some logs laid perpendicular to the stack, so they are not lying in dirt and can dry out and weather. Use big tarps when necessary. ☺️
Depending on how big they are, I was thinking of making shelves. You also could take cross sections of the tree trunks and make some small table tops.
Pine leaves residue in chimney. Best not plan to burn it in fireplace. Burn outside instead.
