How do i clean brass?

I have used Brasso for years .I have a brass bed .wipe it on then rub with a clean soft cloth .comes in a small can at Wal-Mart or groceries stores .there is probably something easier but I haven't found it yet .Good luck

I've always used Brasso too, but my husband had a bottle of just plain metal cleaner...worked just as well.

Yes, brasso would work. Another option is to rub ketchup or tomato paste on to the brass piece. Let it set for an hour or so and then clean it with hot soapy water. Best of luck to you.
