If you are clearing everything out great! Then amend the soil well to provide nutrients to your new plants. Cover and secure landscape fabric. Cut an "x" in the fabric where you wish to place a plant, making sure it has room to breathe and grow. Then cover the area with 2" - 3" of mulch. Yes, it is that easy! πΎπ±π
