Do you want to cover the entire wall space only because of this crack? or would you much rather cover just the crack?
I would say that for the cost, the most inexpensive solution would be to just properly fix it, then respackle. I am wondering about the cause of the crack and whether this should be addressed first before starting any decorating schemes to cover it up.
Hi. Is the crack surface of structural?
And what's above and behind this wall?
And what is this room used as?
Just a tip to see there is movement in the wall - stick a strip of paper across crack and if it tears then it could be subsidence! Meantime PLACE A LARGE PICTURE OVER IT.
Normally cracks like this happen in plaster walls, not sheetrock. Very common in older homes. Best thing to do is widen the crack a bit and fill it with spackle. Sand, prime and repaint.

Hi~
My works“ are largely involved with decoring, both creating & finding unusual ideas. What i have come across the past year is a site that has a huge array of wall hangings; though not just any type. Depending on what you are looking for, there are some majestic 3D wall coverings.
•.. look, lots of the advertising is done in a bedroom ‘look style’ arrangement... this is really boring as i have literally created an outdoor feel inside, i did spend on the better wall hangings, so prices vary though not expensive :::also i added a light wooden frame on mine though this is not required, again its ’the look’ ,& they are easy to staple gun up(just be neat’n’ straight), some type of small lighting across the top does create great effects also; but then so might a yellow globe night light; again it all depends on the look”... Go to a site called Dresslilly( not Zuilily) & head into the ‘homewares’ section. *These wall covers can literally cover a huge wall, so there are different sizes. What i’d like to suggest is a 3D Window ~ thats opened & looking out into the forests;or the beach, there is much to look at. Do be vigilant about deliveries however, as no matter where you are they have a tendency to be quite late always( if wanting something quick then it might be worth spending more on special delivery.)
If it was possible for me to send you private pictures of what a layout can look like with these hangings, i know you would be impressed{ I made a Music studio into an Egyptian Den... & it does feel this way & Looks great...*of coarse Egyptian artifacts were integrated.}. The amazing part really is how quick & easy it is to transform an entire wall... *~* If one wishes to firm up the ‘Look’, then fine ply wood has been used, & literally wall paper glue placed on, then clear painted when dry (a good non yellowing clear spray paint will do:)... • this was done for a portable moving wall~ yes a basic stand was also built. The fact is one can do a number of brilliant ideas with these wall covers.... You just might like one wall to be of brick... take a look as that won’t cost much ( If using googles search engine then please just be aware of not subscribing to Any sites you might like, i’d like to tell All“ the true reasons, though to complex, so just keep you safe means you are better off writing down sites that you like & go directly to them that way.. Apps, they are the worst for todays experts with scams/& hacking,& as said subscriptions are todays ‘Easy Key’ .... *I do some extra work Researching Scam & Hackers & filing reports internationally:)
Happy Crafting whatever you do:))))))))
