I have mine hanging off of peel and stick hooks, the hooks are on a fridge.
You can always get a piece of small barn wood, add cup hooks in a line (however many you want/need), and then nail it to the wall next to your door. Instead of using the cup hooks, you can also find cool drawer knobs at thrift stores and use those!
