Sounds like a multi-family trash party! Gather everyone to go through everything. Sort into keep, throw, give piles. Use a trash bin for the throw pile so that you do not have to handle it again. Sort the give items into boxes so that you can close the boxes and deliver them as soon as you are done. Then repackage your keeps into the bins and onto the shelves according to use. Store like things together, little used and light items on top shelves, hang gardening items on wall hooks, place most used items on the middle shelves and keep the heavy items on the bottom.
