That really varies on the pattern and knots. We use 3-4 yards for a square knot bracelet. But if you are spacing out the alternating knots like fish net you could double or triple the height of the door maybe.
I rule of thumb used to be 2 1/2 xs the length of the finished piece and varies by the type of knots used and frequency.
