If you have never done this before, I highly recommend taking a class at your local Home Depot or home improvement center that offers these classes for free. Also, watch a bunch of You Tube videos. Then I would purchase a little extra and do a test tile project on a scrap of wood. You can always turn it into a tiny table or plant stand. Here are some basic instructions to get you started. While it looks daunting, everyone has to start somewhere and you can do this, just be patient and do not rush the process. Practice makes perfect.
