In pots! It can become invasive very quickly if in ground.
Grow it in a pot or make sure you mulch around the area. Mint grows just like weeds and grass and it takes over quickly.
My mother used to make the best Mint Juleps as mint grew wild in our backyard.
Keep it corralled. It will spread like crazy. This is one for a planter.
It depends on how much mint you want! In pots, is my suggestion, or it can easily get out of hand, & borders, so, unless you are trying to grow a LARGE amount, 😉, I suggest pots are a wonderful, convenient way to grow mint.
