Sprinkle grits around or corn mean. If you can find the mound take a broom stick and poke a hole in the center of mound then pour a liter bottle of club soda down it. It sucks the air out of the hole and they die of oxygen starvation.

You could use Terro ant killer. It comes in different forms. Because I have dogs I use food grade DE (diatomaceous earth)
