How deep to dig for pavers & what type of base should I use?
How fat do I need to dig to lay pavers and what type of base do I need? I want to lay a patio and semi circle walkway from pavers. Patio is approximately 11 by 12. Semi circle area is approximately 16 by 5. Both in feet. I want pavers to match. About how many do I need and how far do I need to dig down? What type of base do I need? Thank you!

How deep you dig is going to depend on how thick your base is going to be and how deep your pavers are. if you have 4 inch pavers and you do a 2 inch base, then you need to dig 6 inches. Talk to your local gravel company. They will be able to recommend a good base and how much you would need for a space that small. Usually it's recommended to do 2.5-3" base for best drainage.
