How do you kill spiders or keep them away?

I had a solution of black pepper, Dawn dish soap and vegetable oil but it’s too thick to spray out of a bottle. Is there another solution that any of you have that works?

Peppermint works! Grow pots of mint on your porches or patio or deck. Be careful with essential oils if you have pets. See if this helps!

I agree. I mix peppermint oil with water and spray it outside around my.windows and doors.
