Bobbie, I like to keep everything I store in the cabinet under the sink, except for adult diapers and towels, in shoeboxes, clear plastic boxes, or in open metal baskets. I can pull the correct bins out, or reach into the baskets. Most bins can be lined up two deep, and up to five deep, if I need that. And every bin is labeled except for the metal baskets, which are open. That’s where I keep replacement soap, toothpaste, and tissue boxes and such. I have two separate cabinets, and I even can store small extra kitchen things in part of one cabinet. Maybe something here can help you. ☺️
Hi Bobbie, Boxes or crates work well.
I personally love the pull out drawers available from The container store. Very sturdy and stackable
Hi Bobbie, we all need more storage in the bathroom!!! Most vanities are an open cavern underneath. My son just built a shelf for under sink storage in their bathroom. He built it like a bench...2 sides and a top, slid it in place and then attached the sides of the new shelf to the sides of the cabinet.
He put pull out bins underneath and on the shelf.
One of the best things we ever did in a small house we lived in for a while was to put an upper kitchen cabinet above each toilet. People tend to buy rather useless cabinets for that area. Those cabinets were fantastic.
Then, above the door going into the bathroom, you can either buy short cabinets to put there, or build a box without a top, turn it on its side and attach it above the door. Then put wire baskets on the "shelf" so you know what is in each one...shampoos and soaps, extra towels and bathcloths, etc.
I love those canvas stack baskets because you can label them and they store a lot of stuff.
