i would think just across the front would look best on this house because of the little garage on the side.
Love wrap around porches! Either will look good, just depends on your budget. I love rocks and stone of any kind, that is my vote!
I'd do just front, might overpower the small house and with the garage so close. Are you considering re-doing the small overhang over the front door? You could do a lot there if you have a budget.
And I can't see what's in front of the house that showing, the foundation or edge of a flower bed? If you didn't get a home inspection you might check the foundation about the porch as far as weight, where you'll attach it, etc. Want to be structurally sound.
Porch across the front. No room for a decent wrap around. Roof overhang to match. Paint the facade. White if you want. Forget stone. Too overpowering and wouldn't fit the style.
it's an 1890 farm house
Thanks for all the suggestions I'll start with a front porch and maybe carry on with a wrap around later
How close is that tree to the house? You just wouldn't want it to close once you add the porch.
I'd love to see one across the whole front of the house including a separate roof over it!
Good luck!
