If you are asking where to store paint. I have always stored mine in the house at room temperature. Storing it in a hot shed or outside will cause it to get really thick and unusable. I have an armoire where I store stains and quarts of paint in and the rest goes on shelves in the spare bathroom. When I'm ready to use the gallons I just take them to Sherwin Williams or wherever I purchased and have them shake them up again.

When ready to store I put a ring of vaseoline around the lip of the can where the lid sits, place saran wrap over the top of the can replace the lid, gently tap on on to secure for future use. I live in San Diego so I can easily store in my garage or my paint shed.

Another suggestion is to use a product called ‘Bloxygen’. You just spray it into the paint can and close the lid. It has 2 properties that allow it to work. 1-it is heavier than air, so it creates a barrier over the paint, and 2-it displaces oxygen so that only the product is left over the paint.

If you have small amounts, you can transfer it to a smaller plastic or glass jar so you don't have the cumbersome large 3/4 empty can!

Oh, I see. My paint has never frozen in our non-insulated garage and it gets very hot and is fine. Good luck!!
