Looks like mold. We have had a lot of rain in NY and my peach trees and maple trees are getting mold from the rain.

There are mold inhibitors but ifnthe roots are rotting from rot only drainage will help.

    Hi Parve,

Looks like the squash was too wet for too long, a drainage issue.

It was raining a lot, is it possible to save this plant?

Give it some time, sometimes they will come back if there is enough nourishment going to the vine.

Maybe, is your drainage improving? Can't tell if your plant is in the ground, raised bed, or a pot, I am having the same problem here in Maryland, we have been bombarded with continual rain, lots of flooding and the water table is very high.

Hmmmm, maybe one thing you can try is adding some Epsom Salt to the soil, just a sprinkling, and not on the plant. This is a valuable nutrient to the plant and may just help, no promises though.

    Best to you.
