How do I build a large fake rock in my yard??
I love on a corner lot and had someone drive through my yard to avoid the intersection. They left tire tracks and a hubcap behind. I want to build a large fake rock to keep that from happening. I was thinking chicken wire, rebar, and concrete, using textured paint to finish. I would like to grow some kind of plants on it. It will be near the end of my driveway next to a small stand of bamboo. Thanks for your suggestions!

Fake rock is not going to do it you need a boulder
Expanded metal wrapped and shaped around a form (any wood or metal will do as long as it’s sturdy)
Spread concrete over the expanded metal. Use trowel to cut basic form shapes into the wet concrete. Allow to dry. Use Spec mix over concrete and create points, flats, and crevices in your “rock”. Think about where you want plants and create spots for them.
When all dry, use watered down paint in several different rockish colors to paint your rock.
I hope that helps

Hi. Check with codes both local and homeowners before doing this. If you are going to grow plants on it don't bother with the textured paint. Just use tin foil all over it and press down to make rock marks. Then water daily and put a tarp over it for a month. Good luck.
Believe Hod33720583's advice. Get a boulder installed. It's a much better deterrent. Or install a large fence at the corner, or a large stand of very sturdy trees, or you'll be repeating your efforts.
A boulder is not an affordable option in Florida. We have plans for trees, but they take time to grow.
