How large are your pieces? what kind of medium? Not sure what you have available in your home/apartment but maybe a climate controlled rented storage unit?
At your home? How many? How big?
Do you mean inexpensive place?

pieces for artists. Or do you want to store in climate control?
Storage places have climate control but I’d insure them as well if the units ever have issues. They are not inexpensive.
In my home. In my studio which is 11' by 11'. Trying to stay under a $100.
Maybe use some 2x6s n make a box bout 50x50, then a piece of plywood for back, attach wi 4th h nails, for front, run two pieces of rope bout 1/4way up n half way up, attach wheels to bottom (4caster wheels with lock-ability) n staple a sheet over front! Maybe store behind couch or just against a wall but then u can pull it out as needed, n to store supplies, maybe find a large fishing tackle box!!
