Storing seeds
-
The Micro Gardener - Anne on Jun 02, 2014Hi I save a lot of seeds & maintain a local community seed bank. Good storage is really important if you want to preserve the viability of your seeds. Small seeds have a shorter life than larger ones. You may find this article I wrote helpful. http://eudloseedsavers.blogspot.com.au/2011/09/how-to-store-seeds-correctly.html Ideally, if you have room, keep a small sealed container in your fridge or a dark jar/rodent proof box + keep moisture & light out. Hope this helps!Helpful Reply

Jo A on Jun 03, 2014Saving seeds are not hard, just keep them dry. Make sure you put them into paper envelopes and mark them as to know what they are. Do not keep them any where they will collect any moisture. Just remember, the older the seed the less they will germinate.Helpful Reply

Robert Muttenthaler on Jun 03, 2014I always have plenty of seeds or bulbs left over each year from the planting season. All I do is store them in paper bags and put them in a dry play. I use paper bags because it allows air to flow and circulate keeping the bulbs and seeds healthy till next years planting. So I keep paper lunch bag and elastics on hand and don't forget to mark what is in each bag and the dateHelpful Reply
