Taro?
I don't think Taro has those kind of "pods" that are in the second photo
I think it is a weed called a Velvet Leaf (Abutilon theophrasti) or Buttonweed. It has large heart-shaped leaves, yellow flowers and the crown shaped seed pods.
Pumpkin
Look up “Datura”. If that is Datura also called “Angel’s Trumpet”, it is poisonous and should be removed immediately. Keep kids away from it as the sap is toxic. It can get very large and has beautiful yellow, white or pink trumpets but not worth the risk of having around. Sorry if I am wrong!

Velvet Leaf. I remember it growing in soybean & corn fields around our house growing up.
