How do i hang a barn door?
I have an existing door frame and I want to put a barn door up. There is no room for the track on the outside of the doorway, so I'm hoping it can be hung on the inside of the doorway?? Any tips, suggestions, etc. are greatly appreciated.

Just measure to make sure you have enough clearance.

Remember if you are hanging the door inside the frame and want it to slide back in order to walk thru the opening, how can you do this if it is hung inside the frame work? Where will the door slide to, it is locked in by the door frame. It can't slide anywhere. Now, if you want to double the size your door frame so the door can slide back, then you would need to increase the width of the door frame.
Now if the barn door is much narrower than your door frame, I would research ceiling steampunk tracks for doors. https://rusticahardware.com/ceiling-mount-barn-door-hardware/
This is a good site.
Maybe put up the track with wheels on the inside
