I use a product called Terri Ant Killer and it’s always done the job for me. Directions are very easy to follow. The ants take it back to their nest where it kills them. Works fast, leave them out until you don’t see any more ants. Good luck.....

Hi Nancy! I put diatomaceous earth around the outside perimeter of my house in addition to any points of entry I find. I also put bait traps anywhere I still see them. They have been tough this year with all the rain.

I found it disgusting/ facinating when i used Tero / tetra? ant bait. the area near my sink was SWARMING with ants, once they discovered it and after about a day ( yuck yes 24 hours or more) the bait was pretty much abandoned, and the ants did not return.

I have also sprinkled boric acid (and if i am correct about the path the ants are taking and they are forced to come in contact with it) and that sometimes works.
