Tiling wall help!!
This may be purely choice, but I need to tile a wall around the toilet in my bathroom. I am not tiling the whole bath. Right now the area is sheet rock with the typical wood baseboards. Should I leave the baseboards or remove them. If I remove them how to I finish the bottom, and how do I mesh the tiled wall and the remaining wall (which will still have baseboard).
Leave the baseboard and tile above it. If you were doing the whole room I would advise removing the base board.
Good idea. Thanks.
Carefully remove the baseboard and set aside. After the wall tile is finished you can decide if it needs the baseboard or not.
Thank you very much.
I would leave the baseboard if you aren't tiling the whole bathroom. As for the side of the tile, you could use Schluter. This goes along the edge so that you don't see the edge of the tile or need a bullnose. I've used it on a fireplace and in a bathroom.

Than k s so very much.
I have bull nose in my bathroom that coordinates with the shower wall tiles. It looks great. That wall also has thick decorative molding.
