Good luck !! They are like gourmet food for deer . Some Hostas may benefit from deer repellents , but most of these need need regular re-application and not 100% fool proof . Ck Hosta growers site for their suggestions , but I'd say only tall ugly fences are about the closest to 100% .
Try planting marigold flowers among the hostas.

Try planting sage in between the hostas,they don't like it.
The only sure way is to use fencing. Some people use pepper spray on the plants.
