Just make a box with no lid drill holes in base for drainage. ( or you could use Slates od wood instead of a solid base. Line with plastic liner (Old Compost bag would be fine). Paint or Stain in the usual way for outdoor boxes, then make drainage holes through plastic. add soil/compost and plant up Or just add plants in Pots..........Enjoy!
Yse treated wood or they will rot.
Its also nice if the front board is at a slant, and of course you need supports for your window boxes, This window boxes have metal supports painted to match the siding.
