How do I prepare the ground for precast steps?
How do I prepare the ground next to my house to temporarily set a set of precast steps? The steps are 22” high my doorway is 32” off the ground (lowest point where it will sit. The key word is temporary here. I’m building a deck at some point to replace them but need steps till then.

Pour a 4-inch concrete slab and set the steps on it.
Just buy some wood risers 2 x 12 and use those. You are 2 steps shy of reaching house. Return the concrete ones.
Use concrete blocks under the steps.
