How do I choose plants that will last in the desert during winter?
Looking for plants I can pot for winter months in southern Nevada desert. Will Vincas last thru winter as they do well during hot summer months?

I prefer pansies outside in winter as they are very Hardy! Petunias like the summer heat.
Yes, vinca can live through the winter. I have some in one pot that are 3 years old. Want a photo? Mums and pansies will do well too. I have even had snapdragons last several years.
