These butterflies are peel and stick.
How can I make a butterfly jar?
I have these butterflies and would like to make them into a gift for my future daughter in law. I was thinking of putting them on a jar but not sure exactly what to do.
This is the jar I was thinking of using.

You can arrange them with some foilage and slip it into a inexpensive shadow box, you can use glue and wire to arrange them with the artificial foilage and the shadow box will keep it from getting crushed

How about something like this (without the quilling)
Paper Quilled Butterfly in a Jar
I made my daughter a butterfly display in 2 ways. The first one in a jar, I put a few twigs from my backyard, put in some moss and small stones then carefully placed the butterflies to look as natural as possble. The second way was I got an large canvas and used various things, I glued small twigs, colored rice and glued it down to look like flowers, painted in the sky and a tree (I cannot paint many things)trees are easy. Then hot glued the butterflies here and there and sprayed the whole thing with hairspray to keep it and let on. Good luck. The gift will be appreciated.
I thought of using an old window with distressed paint and gluing them on with Mod Podge or Faux stained glass look.
Here's a tutorial on that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntCTHK4JtIY
Make it simple with just a few "panes" or or add more if you want. use color on some and leave some blear with the butterflies or whatever suits you.
Put a little clay on bottem and attach a wire to some of them to look like. There caught in the jar and 1 over the clay spot th a ribbon around lid
Your butterflys are rly pretty btw. I like all of these ideas 💡 Especially the one hanging them from the lid of the jar to make them look like they were caught in jar. But I think that i would use a glass jar for that. Another good idea would be to make a sun catcher/dream catcher/wind chime thing. Use fishing line to hang them from a stick or something else & instead of using clay i would use a bead. You can also add beads all the way up the fishing line or tying knots and placing beads so they would be spead out. If you want more butterflies you can use a plastic pop bottle and find a butterfly clipart. Trace the butterfly onto the plastic & paint them with nail polish/markers & sparkles/gems etc.
If it were me, I'd use a taller jar, glass (like an old pickle jar), and add some faux flowers and spread the butterflies around on the flowers or plant. That is a wonderful idea! Perhaps put a cloth over the lid for more decor in her favorite colors and a ribbon to tie it off. Hope this helps!
