My craft area
How do I organize craft/living room?
I have to make my crafts in my living room. I do many types of crafts, so I have many different supplies. I have lots of small items which over takes my area. What are some good ideas to put it in some semblance of order?

Sauder HomePlus Basic Storage Pantry or other type Pantry could replace the open shelves hiding the clutter. Then label shelves buy dollar store baskets to organize whatever is in the pantry.Pretty plant on top.You never stated a budget you could have two the desk dividing them looking like a built in.
I have a very fully decorated house and this weekend I had an indoor sale of fabric items. I integrated the fabrics into the already existing decor and all I got were raves over the house. I did somewhat cover things up, but not totally. This by way of saying you have to have an attractive work space that is still in your living room. The way to do this is to have everything be attractive. The window covering should be changed to something very attractive. The shelves in the background should be removed and you should have a unit with doors that has shelves within it that can hide the products you work with. Unless you want to abandon the idea of having a living room at all, it should be living room first, then craft but with the crafting station/supplies being company ready. It is certainly o.k. to have just a craft room, there is no law that says you have to have a living room, but unless you live alone, probably other family members would like a living room.
I will definitely look for a cabinet for my craft supplies. Can’t wait to get started! Thanks for the ideas👍
Hi Rose! I also have to do my crafting in my living room! I had to put a metal cabinet behind my sofa. It actually worked out nice as it also kind of separated the room a bit.
Oh...and a friend of mine made me this cabinet... it's small and contained, but when I'm crafting, it pops open and gives me additional space! Maybe you find or make something like this.
dollar store, small containers etc
