John, Are you wanting to grow them in the soil bags or something else? Cucumbers can be grown in a bag of soil, cut an “x” in the middle, add a handful of 10-10-10 fertilizer and put a couple seeds in. Keep the soil damp bit not wet. You will need a trellis as the vines get rather long. Or are you thinking about the upside down hanging planters in which you fill with soil and put a starter in? You will need about 70-80 days of hot weather and although the plant likes to be watered they don’t like wet feet so you will need drainage holes.
