Place it in a bowl of uncooked rice and let it sit overnight. The rice is supposed to absorb all the water.
Immediately - bury the phone in white rice. It will absorb the moisture inside the phone. I'd leave it there for a few days.
Put in a zip lock bag with (uncooked) rice, if the back can come off take out the battery and put all pieces in the bag for a few days.
Also, if you save those little packets of desiccant bags that come with almost everything we buy these days, you can toss those in, too, and they work great!
Take off back, remove battery if it's removable. Do NOT turn phone on until it is dry or you risk shorting something out.
Next, pour 91% rubbing alcohol into the phone thru every crack & crevice. Tilt in different directions until no more water or liquid runs & drips out.
Next, set phone up on end so that a corner is the bottom most point & any remaining liquid can drain out. Now, turn a blow dryer on COOL air low speed & leave over night. Next day, your phone should be dry & safe to use again.
I have done this technique several times & never lost a phone from getting wet.
Used blow dryer it works.. at the same time the water will flow out from inside
