Use the back of the door for some additional storage.
You have more space than I do! I would be jumping for joy with that closet!
Take everything out of the bathroom. Clean cabinets inside and out. Sort it into categories. Put everything back in order. Use bins or baskets to keep small items together. Find a home for every item so you can keep your counters clear. I have my everyday makeup in a basket that gets stored in the vanity.

Hi Renita, what a nice bathroom! I would get a few of those Sliding tiered storage bins that fit under your sink. Then you can stack products in each bin and maximize the space. I would also use the inner door of your cabinet to hang your hair tools, like a hairdryer, curling iron etc.
You can buy shelves or a nice cabinet to install above your toilet and add baskets to hold more items - like toilet paper and wipes even. Towels can even be rolled up and stored in a pretty floor basket. Toilet paper can also be stored in a basket or wire crate. I attached pics for some ideas I was talking about. I hope this helps!

Extend the closet shelves.
Add a spring tension rod or shower rod in the shower and hang items with shower curtain rings.
Add a shelf under the sink. You may have to get a kit that works around your pipes.
Use baskets and place like things together.
Make or buy tiered make up holders like this project.

Think vertical and add shelving or cabinets.
Add shelving in the walls between studs. I've done this and here's a project for guidance. However, I didn't build mine out. I just cut it out and lined with shelf paper because we are going to remodel.

Bathroom Organizer
Add Bathroom Storage in the Walls!
You have a ton of storage over the toilet. There are lots of ways to utilize that wall. my main bathroom toilet, has a shelf, lamps and a picture, all that could be shelves. Over the toilet in our back hall I have used a series of wooden crates for storage. At the hardware store you can buy metal strips that brackets fit in. Just a couple of screws holds the strips and then the brackets can be adjustable to hold wooden shelves (or glass or metal) Also in the photo you show of your closet, those shelves could be much deeper, thus holding more things. For my deep linen closet I use shallow baskets, so I can pull them out to look at items stored there. There is always more storage space than people think.
Easy and cheap answers:
Utilize the storage you have better as has been suggested by others. Dollar Tree has stackable bins and all sorts of baskets and such that can go under the sink for organization. You can also look at places like Harbor Freight for tool boxes and bins that could be used for bath stuff.
Build a shallow set of shelves (like 3 inches deep or so) on the wall behind the door. You will be amazed at how much stuff you can fit on them. Toiletries, meds, etc. If you don't like the look of open shelves, tack fabric to the top shelf to hang in front of it like a curtain.
Add a shelf above the door - it can be fairly deep, even. It is a great place to store toilet paper.
Add either shelves or a cabinet above the toilet. you get get one of those over the toilet things that are on legs or you can mount stuff directly on the wall. This would be a place you could store things that are currently in the vanity drawers, freeing up the vanity drawers for your makeup and prescriptions and such.
Add a second board to each of the shelves in the closet to make deeper shelves.
Truthfully, I would all but kill to have the storage you already have. I have a one bathroom house with a pedestal sink, the linen closet (which is in the hall outside the bathroom) is only a foot deep, and the whole bathroom is probably about 5 x 6 feet plus the area where the door opens.
I would love to have the space you do. I went out and bought one of the over the toilet cabinets..It helped a lot. I have a little storage under the sink and a few drawers, that's it..I would die to have your 'closet' lol
