How do you make hardwood floor look good with out sanding?
We took out a old brown rug, an under it is hardwood floor. Is there a way to clean it an take out spots, without sanding it. We paint the walls an updated it. Is there something out there that will make hardwood floors look good. No sanding.

My first inclination was that you'd have to sand, but after looking into it further, you might be able to buff it and apply a new coat of finish if it's not too damaged. See this explanation from This Old House: https://www.thisoldhouse.com/how-to/how-to-refinish-wood-floors
Hi Tamara. I'm Cindy. You might want to wash the wood floor with a product called Murphy's Oil Soap. The soap will clean the floor and the oil will condition the wood. No sanding required. Best of luck with this project.
I agree with finding a product to refurbish what you have. Test Murphy's Oil Soap, in a closet,, a friend of mine used it on her kitchen cabinets and it ruined the finish.
Try using Bona for hardwood floors. When I removed carpet off my living floors the maple floors were in great shape. I use an orbital floor sander and polyurethane just to renew the finish.
