Yes! you can also make pesto and freeze it in muffin tins for the perfect serving size all year long!
Hi Sherrie,
I freeze basil in a couple of ice cube trays. I put the basil in the place where the ice would go then cover it with water. I freeze the entire tray and once it's frozen, I pop out the basil cubes and put them into a plastic bag in the freezer. That way I can use as much or as little as I want for my winter cooking.
