With a bit of fiddling, you could replicate what is pictured, just have loads of bead wire and give it a try. My mom and I used to do this. We would buy one really cool ornament then deconstruct it so we could make our own.
I don't ha e a pattern, but this is pearl bead on thin wires bent to the desired shapes for each wing or leg. They look like they are wrapped around a larger wire in the middle. Good luck!
You can buy beads at the craft store on wire. It looks to me like most of this is just wrapped and twisted with a larger bead added for the head.
Hello, dear Crafters: I've done this beaded angels(which can also be turned to winged fairies);you need to have a thicker bendable wire-or a thin one but with a double or triple row and you need to leave a small hole-like space to attach the pieces;:one at each side and a bigger(2 centimeters)in the lower part for the 'dress'.,depending on the size of the figurine. Each wing is beaded with the respective arm, at the same time with the same piece of wire;and the angel's dress is also done in pieces,6 in this figure, leaving a one-inch lenght of wire to be folded on the main one.Its better by pieces because if you make a mistake,it's only about one part and not the whole angel .
Check tube channel. What a treasure trove of ideas!
Sorry I forgot to type YouTube.
My sister made these right before she passed away. Still a treasure on my tree.
A different angel can be made with a 1.50 metres of thin wire. Find middle then bend it . Add seven or nine beads deending on size of the beads.
Then bend at this end and add six or eight beads. Then take the other side of the wire and thread back through the last set of beads. Then thread on five or seven beads. Then take the other side of the wire and go back through, carry on reducing beads and threading through until you finish with one bead. Put a larger bead for the head on to the shorter wire. Add small beads to form a halo. Then thread back to the start of the halo and wire the remaining wire around the base. The other wire add beads to form a wing, leaving slightly longer on the other side. Thread through the third or fourth row down the body through to the other side, then thread on more beads and bring up to neck area and wire wrap around the neck then through the large bead and make a loop for the hanging, finish by wrapping the wire around halo base. Hope this is of some help.
I made a beaded angel and posted the tutorial here on Hometalk. You can substitute the type of beads you want. https://www.hometalk.com/diy/craft/ornaments/crystal-beaded-angel-ornament-how-to-11539869
Crystal Beaded Angel Ornament - How To
Oh wow! My children made these when they stayed with their babysitter nearly 20 years ago. I still put them on my tree every year. Their sitter passed several years ago, but my kids still remember the fun they had with her. Such a dear woman. I’ll see if I can find her instructions.
You should watch happy bird on YouTube or check her blog out she has done some really sweet and beautiful Angel ornaments and I'm pretty sure she has made something like or pretty close to the one in the picture
