How do I take up my sticky lay down laminate and polish the concrete?

Unless re concrete is finished already wth that type of finish, you can't add it. Try acetone to remove the glue after you pull up your floor
Use gloves and have good ventilation

You can try using a blow dryer for this. If it isn't strong enough, you can rent a heating tool specifically for this project at a home improvement or tool rental store.
I am renting a sander and will do it that way. Floor is removed. Just getting it to a clean surface now.
