Knockout roses with witches broom, do I need to dig them up?
I have 12 double knockout roses with witches broom… Do I need to dig them up and can I plant new ones in the same spot? Or, would you recommend planting something different?

What do you want to dig up and why do you want to dig it up? Both, or one and which one? Do you want to relocate them elsewhere, give them away, or trash them?

Witches Broom is Rose Rosette disease. This article explains not only what causes it but what needs to be done. All roses are vulnerable as it is a virus spread by tiny mites and is spreading like crazy. There is no cure, sad to say. Hope this helps:

Dig them up; dispose of them carefully, and do not replant area with roses. Sorry!
