How do you get rid of moles from your yard?
They are destroying my yard.
Try this: Place a rag soaked in household ammonia in a small Ziploc bag and seal the top. Then cut the corner off and place the bag into the entrance holes. The smell will permeate the tunnels and they do not like the smell.
i'll give it a try , thanks
My father used to put a hose on the exhaust pipe of the car and stuck the other end in the hole. Carbon monoxide killed them.
Guys get rid of their food and they will leave. They love grub worms. So get ride of the grubs then no more moles. Go to you local store that sells yard supply's and buy some grub killer. Be sure to put it down every year or the grubs will return....
have you tried moth balls scattered around
It sounds weird but it works! Bubblegum!! Cut into little pieces and put down the holes. They like the sweetness, but cannot digest it and it will kill them. Works here in Arizona.
I stuff the holes with hair from my cats and dogs and it has worked well after many years of trying everything!!
One of the most common and effective mole and vole repellents is castor oil, which has an unpleasant taste and smell. Mixing three parts castor oil and one part dish soap with a gallon of water creates an effective repellent that can be sprayed on areas of mole activity. This is not only a repellent for moles; it’s also a good way to get rid of groundhogs, voles, and other rodents.
