You could put up plant hooks if they have handles or a pretty shelf then display them put pretty flowers in or around them
You could put up some shelving but be sure to fasten them to a stud.
You can buy or build a small shell to hang on the wall.

You can try cutting a piece of wood say 24" X 6" and painting or distressing it to match your decor. Install some pretty hardware hooks and hang your lanterns from it. If you a lot you can make different sizes of the wood and arrange them in a pleasing manner.
