How can I stiffen crepe paper?
HelloIs there anyway I can stiffen crepe paper leaves?
Bleeding depends on how well the stencil is attached to the surface you are painting. They sell stencil adhesive go help you out. I would use a flexible plastic stencil (which encompasses most of the stencils produced today) and practice technique on scrap paper first. There are many tutorials on You Tube.
Naomi is right. Bleeding happens when you use too much paint. Your brush or roller should be practically dry when you stencil. Also, check your stencil occasionally to make sure there is no paint on the back of the stencil.
You can purchase stencils in many places. Hobby Lobby, Michaels, JoAnn's. Also just type in 'stencils' in your web browser and you will pull up tons of places. Etsy also has stencils.
