It is very easy and pretty straight forward. Remove baseboards. Remove existing flooring (exception: no need to remove old vinyl floor, just carpet or hard tile). Clean floor. Put down plastic underlayment, put down flooring, reinstall baseboards. There will be detailed instructions in the boxes of your new flooring. My husband and I put down engineered hardwood in all the rooms in our house by ourselves when we were in our midsixties so that should give you an idea how easy it is!
Make sure your floor is level. Buy a self leveling concrete from the hardware store if they are not. This way your floors will not have air pockets.
