How to build an outdoor catio or cat enclosure?
I am looking how to build a stand alone outdoor cat enclosure with a full door and climbing structures/perches constructed inside. It would need to be at least 10' w x10' l x6' h. Step by step plans/blueprints would be very helpful. Thank you.

Hello Joyce, Had you thought to adapt a fruit cage?
Hi Joyce. I've never made one but this website seems to have lots of information including plans. Hope that helps a bit. https://catiospaces.com/catios-cat-enclosures/free-tips/8-tips-for-diying-your-catio/
Hello again. A fruit cage is somewhere you would grow fruit you did not want birds etc to destroy your crop. A large wooden framed wire walled structure that you can walk into. available through people who may also sell sheds and garden greenhouses etc.
Ok, thank you. I may just do that if I don't find anything on the catio site Kim sent me. I would prefer to build one though to my specifications.
you might want to consider hiring a contractor, and having it attached to you home... cat's could enter/exit at will thru a window fitted with a 'doggy/kitty door'. OR We used an old chain link dog kennel -- 10 x 10 and put a wire top on it; built shelves, put real logs/tree limbs for climbing and it fit under the eaves of the house; cats entered thru the window over my washing machine; I kept ALL food and water indoors, as was their boxes and they never stayed out over night. -- was this 'pretty' ?? NO!! but the cat's didn't care, and it was functional for many years.
