I use the window wash that you put into your car for the outside windows. Takes the grime right off.

Hi Gina,
I use a mixture of vinegar & water (50/50) with a few drops of Dawn. Sometimes I need to do it more than once (even when I used Windex) to get all of it off. If's also important to use very clean cloths for the whole process. If you do one side with a cloth, you'll need more for the other side to keep from putting the dirt back on the glass. I've also gotten really crazy clean by using a toothbrush around the edges. Maybe one of these ideas will help. Wishing you the best.
Denatured alcohol, 1part to 9 parts water; spray bottle, paper towels; do in the shade on a cool windshield; repeat going the 'other' direction
Using newspaper instead of paper towels also helps cut down on lint and it reuses the paper.
I would clean with alcohol as suggested by landshark. Once the grime is clean,, then you can get a streak free window with Supercloth. It's also great for screens and mirrors
