Hi Gabriella, Only store in your Basement if it is dry - then hang overhead and free from a wire hanger to allow air circulation. Otherwise put in a Vac Pac bag and seal well.
Hi there, we do this every year with our outdoor sofa cushions. Our basement is very dry. We wrap them up in very large leaf bags and gently stack them in the basement since we don't have room to hang them anywhere. If your basement isn't dry then I agree with John, seal them well and keep them off the floor.
Seal in a plastic bag and you can use overhead storage like this https://www.hometalk.com/diy/organize/garage/overhead-garage-storage-2816518

I wonder how giant space bags would work in your situation. When you suck the air out of them, they take less space, are waterproof, and can be hung if you wished.
I hang them from hooks on the basement ceiling. That way if they are wet or damp they won't mildew like they would in an enclosure.
Hi Gabriella, hope this helps you out. I would put clear plastic bags over them, then find a corner where you can stack them on top of each other, or put up a shelf you can sit them all onto.
